Which quality checks are performed?

Depending on the type of survey, there are different certificate levels of the Redem® quality mark. The certificate levels depend on the size of the survey and the complexity of the questionnaire. For each certificate level, the survey data must pass a minimum level of quality checks in order to receive a Redem® quality mark.

Standard

For simple and medium-sized surveys.

Quality checks

  • Review of the Interview duration/time
  • Control of at least 2 open ended questions

Standard Plus

For simple and medium-sized surveys that also include matrix questions.

Quality checks

  • Review of the Interview duration/time
  • Control of at least 2 open ended questions
  • Control of the response behaviour with at least 1 item battery

Extended

For surveys with extensive and complex questionnaires.

Quality checks

  • Review of the Interview duration/time
  • Control of at least 2 open ended questions
  • Control of the response behaviour with at least 2 Item-Batterie
  • Psychological control of superficial response behaviour and response certainty with the help of at least 1 additional projective control question

The quality report

Every survey that holds a Redem® quality mark also receives an individual quality report. This report provides a comprehensive overview of the data quality and the performed quality checks. This ensures full transparency from data collection to quality control and data cleaning.

Where can I find the Redem® Quality Mark?

The quality mark, with a link to the quality report, can usually be found directly inside the study report or in an extra sheet in the survey data.

How do I know if a quality mark is valid?
